I’ve always had a love for video games, even though I’m personally terrible at them. Due to my love of video games, I decided to work with a fictional magazine called Overpowered. Overpowered is a gamer magazine, geared more towards middle school to high school aged kids.

I decided to pick games to highlight that I personally enjoy, while thinking the whole time designing this about my 12 year old cousin who really loves video games. I wanted to make him proud, which I’m hoping I did. 

The cover is my personal favorite part of this project, not just because Spider-man is on the cover. I love how perfectly all the elements fit together to make a very striking image to attract someone to pick up the magazine and leaf through.
